Colorful things happened under our green roof. Investors, developers, architects, students, representatives of interested institutions, young and more mature people interested in highly efficient building systems incorporating nature visited our stand. Conversations are ongoing, we are arranging further meetings, preparing for new projects.

GREEN ROOF TILE – the Bulgarian innovation, of which we are deservedly proud, has aroused not just interest, but respect. Our innovative product for the landscaping of high pitched roofs has become the occasion for the creation of our new brand and the country’s first online shop for green roofs. greina.bg is evolving as an innovative platform to educate, share, inspire and offer what you need to create living roofs and green spaces. Connecting with Nature at our own pace is the message we convey.

In the conference room of the expo, we held a lecture on GREEN ROOFS – WHY and HOW? Based on several years of experience we told:

✅ what inspires people to green their roofs;

✅ what are the common concerns of a green roof and how to overcome them;

✅ what are the economic and environmental benefits of rooftop greening;

✅ why more and more Bulgarians choose landscaping with sedums instead of grass/regrass.

In the lively discussion that followed, the audience shared
specific case studies, many questions were answered and important topics were touched upon. One of them, namely “Supportive government policies and incentives for building green roofs” (not only in developed European countries) raised relevant questions “Why is this missing in Bulgaria, given the numerous economic and environmental benefits of green roofs?”. We are already taking concrete steps to answer these questions and take the necessary action.

Along with the intensive meetings at Inter Expo Center, our team took part in the side events of the exhibition – the annual ARCHINOVA ARCHITECTURE AWARDS 2024 ceremony, as well as the First Annual Awards of the Association of Professional Landscapers in Bulgaria, where Inova Top Green’s project was nominated for an award.
